Basketball: U18 team eliminated from ABC

The Zambia Under-18 girls Basketball team has been eliminated from the ongoing Africa Basketball Championship in South Africa.

This follows a dismal performance by the youth Basketball team.

The team lost all their three games in  group B, while the boys team only managed one win against hosts South Africa in group C.

Meanwhile, the boys team will be hoping to sneak into the quarter finals if the results of other countries playing today will favour Zambia.

The girls team will not shift focus to classification games, which are important for ranking purposes.
