Chipolopolo to play Russia

FAZ has secured an international friendly match against Russia for the Chipolopolo.

The match will be played during the June 2025 FIFA window.

Association General Secretary, Reuben Kamanga, says the match will be played in Moscow.

Kamanga says the match follows engagements with the Russian Ambassador to Zambia, Azim Yarakhmedov.

He explained that the exact date for the match, which will be used to prepare the Chipolopolo for the 2025 AFCON, is yet to be agreed.

This is according to a statement availed to ZNBC Sports by FAZ Communications Manager, Sydney Mungala.
