CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines pumps out 28m cubic metres of water
CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines has pumped out over 28 million cubic meters of water from 28 Shaft with the water level dropping by over 230 metres.
CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Chairman WANG JINGJUN says the mining company is ahead of schedule to pump out 170 million cubic meters between 18 to 21 months.
Mr. WANG told ZNBC News that said so far town pumps have been installed at the mine with three more expected to be installed before the end of the year.
And Mr. WANG said the mining company is expected to double its copper production from 42,000 tons to over 80,000 tons with the coming of 28 Shaft.
