Criminals shoot dead Chinese man

A Chinese national has died while another is battling for his life in the Intensive Care Unit at Sinozam hospital in Kitwe after being shot by unknown criminals.
ZHAI HUI and CHEN ZAIJUN, both aged 62, are employees of Yongly Investment limited ZCCZ in Chambishi.
The two were attacked at the company premises around 19:00 hours on Thursday by armed criminals, with an unknown firearm.
Copperbelt Police Commissioner PEACEWELL MWEEMBA says ZHAI HUI was shot in the left side of his chest and died on the spot.
Mr MWEEMBA says CHEN ZAIJUN sustained a bullet wound on the right side of the stomach and was rushed to SinoZham friendly hospital where he is receiving treatment.
He says no arrest has been made and police are still investigating the matter.
