Engineers Challenged to form construction companies

Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister, CHARLES MILUPI, has urged #engineers to form #construction companies and participate in major infrastructure projects.

Mr. MILUPI says the participation of Zambians in major contracts will ensure that money stays within the country.

He was speaking in Livingstone when he officiated at the 68th Engineering Institution of Zambia EIZ Annual Symposium & Annual General Meeting.

Speaking at the same event, #Water Development and Sanitation Minister, COLLINS NZOVU, said the government is working on the development of climate-smart sanitation technologies, to improve hygiene and water quality in the country.

Meanwhile, Engineering Institution of Zambia President, WESLEY KALUBA, has commended government for coming up with short to mid-term strategies in an effort to create an energy mix.
