FAZ Refers members’ proposals to EGM
The Football Association of Zambia FAZ has referred all members’ proposals made during the annual general meeting to Emergency General Meeting- EGM.
FAZ General Secretary REUBEN KAMANGA says the association is happy that members that brought forward proposals were given an opportunity to present them to the council.
KAMANGA says the proposal by FC MUZA to have the Zambian Premier League chairperson to be elected by the clubs body has been forwarded to ZPL on the recommendation by the council and will then be forwarded to the EGM.
In a statement issued after the AGM, KAMANGA said the Elite Ladies Football Club proposals will also be a subject at the EGM.
KAMANGA said the call for general amnesty had been left to individual persons to engage the relevant judicial bodies.
He said FAZ met with the aggrieved parties and Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU and agreed that they are free to seek guidance from the FA as their cases are different.
