FAZ Secretary Kamanga Stresses Tough Preparation for U-17 AFCON
Football Association of Zambia General Secretary, Reuben Kamanga, says the group for the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations will not be a push-over.
Zambia has been placed in Group A alongside Uganda, Tanzania, and their common rivals, Morocco, in the tournament, which also serves as a World Cup qualifier.
Mr. Kamanga says the team will have to prepare well, given the strong opponents they have been drawn against.
He adds that the country must prepare thoroughly, especially against Morocco.
He says the association is looking to arrange friendly matches for the young Copper Bullets.
Meanwhile, sports analyst Enock Phiri has expressed confidence in the team and believes they can go beyond the quarterfinals of the 2025 AFCON tournament.
