The FIFA Review Committee has declared ANDREW KAMANGA eligible to contest the March 12 FIFA Council Elections billed for Cairo.
In a letter addressed to KAMANGA from the CAF General Secretary VERON MOSENGO-OMBA, FIFA declared the FAZ president eligible after passing all the required tests.
KAMANGA will be among 11 candidates for the available five seats for CAF male candidates.
The FIFA eligibility test is a requirement for any aspiring candidate for elections as stated in the FIFA statutes.
On March 12, 2025, Africa will be selecting six representatives for the highly sought after FIFA Council seats with one seat reserved for a female candidate.
