Handball under 18 in need of K450,000

The Handball Association of Zambia -HAZ- is looking for 450,000 Kwacha for the Under 18 International Handball Federation continental championship in Addis Ababa.

The tournament will run from 2nd to 6th November 2024.

HAZ General Secretary JOSAB CHANGA says the association has secured part of the air tickets needed and is looking for funds for accommodation and meals during the championship.

CHANGA told ZNBC news in an interview that the association is happy that expatriate coaches are in the country helping to train the team.

He has also appealed to well wishers and government to aid the team because the association failed to send the under 20 team to Tunisia for the Africa Cup last time.
