HH to officiate at the Private Sector Day Re-run

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is tomorrow expected to officiate at the third Private Sector Day re-run Meeting in Lusaka.

President HICHILEMA has requested the programme to take place before its scheduled time to facilitate for Cabinet Ministers and other Government officials to be present.

PPDF Head Strategic Communications JACQUELINE CHISHIMBA says the main objective of the forum is for Government to realign itself to the 2025 reforms and beyond.

And Ms. CHISHIMBA has told ZNBC news that the PPDF will this year setup more technical working groups among them the green economy technical group.

She said the group is aimed at addressing issues to do with delays in issuance of licenses, environment impact assessment from the Zambia Environment Management Agency -ZEMA- among others.

Ms CHISHIMBA says the Technical Group will address needed mitigation measures to tackle climate change in the country.
