HH urges chiefs to promote national unity

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has urged traditional leaders to continue working together to promote national unity.

President HICHILEMA says Chiefs should always promote togetherness by attending each other’s traditional ceremonies.

He said this when he met traditional leaders on the sidelines of the Chakwela Makumbi traditional ceremony of the Soli people in Chongwe District.

And President HICHILEMA said his government is determined to unite the country.

He has advised people serving in public office to emulate the leadership of traditional leaders.

Meanwhile, House of Chiefs Chairperson Chief NKAMBO praised President HICHILEMA for supporting Chiefs.

Chief MPUKA of the CHIKUNDA people of Luangwa District thanked the President for giving traditional leaders farming inputs.
