K500m allocated for SME’s
Government has urged Small and Medium Entrepreneurs -SMEs- to utilise the 500 million Kwacha allocated to help grow small businesses in 2025.
Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Permanent Secretary SUBETA MUTELO says government wants to see SMEs grow into bigger businesses next year.
Speaking at a Consultative Meeting with Small and Medium Entrepreneurs in Lusaka today, Ms. MUTELO said SMEs must utilise the financial allocation by coming up with viable business proposals to uptake the money.
And Public Private Dialogue Forum Director General ANDREW CHIPWENDE has urged government to relook at the investment agreements with chain stores to allow Zambians start running local franchises.
