Kaleni Hills Fruit plant starts producing juice

Kaleni Hills Fruit Processing Plant in Mwinilunga District of Northwestern Province has started producing pineapple juice and bottled water.

Acting General Manager KELVIN MUSONDA told ZNBC News in Mwinilunga that over three hundred cases of pineapple juice has been produced and sold on the market.

Mr. MUSONDA said the quantity of juice produced was from the 2,710 Kilograms of pineapples received from the local farmers this year.

He however said the plant had a target to produce over 2,000 cases of pineapple juice which could not be met due to less produce by farmers.
