Zambia Under-17 Women’s Football Coach CAROL KANYEMBA says winning the World Cup title is an ambition too high as a lot of work needs to be done to attain such a dream.
With only nine days to go before the 2024 U-17 Women’s World Cup kicks off in the Dominican Republic, KANYEMBA says the target will be to give her girls exposure.
Speaking to ZNBC Sport News, KANYEMBA said the World Cup is the biggest stage that gives players a chance to be seen and also get deals to play for better clubs in future.
KANYEMBA said the team will not be pressured to focus on the title but to get the exposure needed to produce better players.
Zambia who have been drawn in Group D will open their World Cup account against Brazil on 18th October 2024.
