Muchende gets injunction against Kaaba

Solicitor General MARSHALL MUCHENDE has been granted an injunction against defamation allegedly by former Anti-Corruption Commission board member O’BRIEN KAABA.

The injunction has been granted by LUSAKA High Court Judge SITUMBEKO CHOCHO.

Judge CHOCHO has restrained Dr. KAABA from publishing or broadcasting any remarks on Mr. MUCHENDE, deemed defamatory.

This is in a matter where Mr. MUCHENDE has sued Dr. KAABA for accusing him of having corruptly received 500,000 dollars.

Mr. MUCHENDE earlier also sought an injunction to restrain Mr. MUCHENDE from publishing allegations on him deemed defamatory.
