Mwila praises Copper Queens

Copper Queens Coach FLORENCE MWILA has praised the team for winning COSAFA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP.
She said teamwork is what ensured the girls being crowned COSAFA Champions.
MWILA however said she is disappointed that MUSOLE was not voted goal keeper of the championship even though she kept clean sheets in all the games.
Meanwhile, South African Coach NOMBUSO KHUMALO said her players were
a bit tired because they played more games than Zambia.
The Copper Queens were crowned 2024 COSAFA women’s cup Champions after beating hosts South Africa 4-3 on penalties.
This is after a goalless draw in the final in Gqeberha, South Africa, on Saturday.
The Copper Queens have since earned their second title, the previous success having been in 2022.
