National Heroes Stadium Rehabilitation to be Completed in March

Youth, Sport, and Arts Minister Elvis Nkandu has assured that the rehabilitation of the National Heroes Stadium will be completed by the end of March this year.

Nkandu told ZNBC News that the procurement processes are already underway, and Sport-Tef, the company overseeing the project, is on the ground to expedite the rehabilitation process.

He further said civil works are also progressing, with key developments including the installation of solar-powered boreholes and the construction of a new substitute bench.

Nkandu expressed confidence that the rehabilitation works will be completed within the stipulated three-month period.

He added that after the installation of the new turf and technical benches, the government will then focus on the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
