Nyirongo ruled out for Uganda clash
By Chansa Kunda
Under 17 striker ABEL NYIRONGO has been ruled out of tomorrow’s final group A clash against Uganda.
The team will be without the service of the talismanic striker, who sustained an injury in Thursday’s goalless draw against Morocco forcing a first half substitution.
Speaking in an interview prior to Sunday’s 2025 U-17 AFCON group stage game against Uganda, Team Doctor EMMANUEL KANSWE says aside from NYIRONGO, the players are fit and ready for selection.
KANSWE says the striker cannot be rushed into playing as he is still under observation.
Meanwhile, U17 player CHAMA CHANSA says the team is determined to score more goals against Uganda.
And BILLY DAKA says the team has worked on the mistakes made in the previous game against Morocco as they face Uganda.
The game will be played at 21:00 hours.
