Olympics : Last group of Zambian athletes arrive in Paris

The final group of Zambian athletes taking part in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has arrived in Paris, France and are confident of winning medals.

Speaking upon arrival at the Charles De Gaulle Airport, Swimmer DAMIEN SHAMAMBO says the team is ready to deliver good results.

And Zambia’s Ambassador to France JUDITH MULENGA who received the contingent has urged Athletes to use the Olympic Games as a platform to promote peace and unity.

The 2024 Paris Olympic Games will run from July 26 to 11th of August, 2024 in France.

Athletes who have arrived in Paris for the games include SIMON ZULU, PATRICK NYAMBE, MUZALA SAMUKONGA, DAVID MULENGA, SITALI KAKENE, Thomson MBEWE,  Kennedy LUCHEMBE, MIA PHIRI, MARGARET TEMBO and DAMIEN  SHAMAMBO.

This is according to a statement issued by the First Secretary for Press at the Zambian Embassy in France, NAOMI MWEEMBA.
