Some small scale business owners in Lusaka have started experiencing the 5 hour power supply which Zesco increased from 3 hours last week.
RABBECCA CHISANDA, who runs a salon at COMESA market, says the increased hours of electricity supply has impacted her business positively as she does not have to spend huge amounts of money on alternative power sources.
She said this in an interview with ZNBC news today.
And JANET SIAMBULI who runs a Stationary shop at Kabwata Market says the area has had about four hours of power supply today.
Ms. SIAMBULI says this will help her business to stay afloat as it relies on machinery such as printers which use electricity.
And PATRICK MUSONDA, a resident of Kalingalinga has also applauded ZESCO for the increased hours of power supply which he says will enable him and other residents to store more food in their fridge .
