RTSA suspends Juldan Motorways for violations

Juldan Motorways has been slapped with a 90-day license suspension for multiple road safety violations by the Road Transport and Safety Agency -RTSA.
Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka today, RTSA Chief Executive Officer AMON MWEEMBA revealed that an investigation into the Juldan Motors bus accident that happened on October 15, 2024 uncovered breaches in safety protocols and Statutory Instruments.
He added that Juldan Motors failed to comply with essential operational standards, including having an inactive GPS unit and breaching the night ban on public service vehicles.
Mr. MWEEMBA further added that Juldan Motors is required to halt operations in the three months and must implement a fleet safety management system before resuming.
