Samukonga clocks 45.27 at Grand Slam Track

Olympic Bronze Medalist MUZALA SAMUKONGA clocked 45.27 seconds to finish in 5th position at the Grand Slam Track in Jamaica.

The ongoing event marked the seasonal opener for athletics.

In the Men’s 400 meters race SAMUKONGA took to the running tracks in anticipation of getting a good start.

CHRISTOPHER BAILEY of the United States won the race, MATTHEW HUDSON -SMITH of Britain came in second position.

And, taking to his Facebook page SAMUKONGA says the finish is a great start to the season.

The Grand Slam Track is an elite track event series featuring the sport’s biggest stars who go head-to-head in competition.
