Tazara Memorial Park Museum opens to the public

Tourism Minister RODNEY SIKUMBA has opened the Tazara Memorial Park Museum in Chongwe District, highlighting its significance in preserving the shared legacy of the Tanzania-Zambia Railway -Tazara.
In a speech read on his behalf by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary EVANS MUHANGA, Mr. SIKUMBA said the decision to make the memorial park accessible to the public reflects the commitment of Zambia and China to honor their shared history and ensure future generations learn from it.
He said the park now offers visitors an opportunity to explore the historical and cultural significance of the Tazara Railway.
