U17 challenged to work on tactical errors
By Chansa Kunda
The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- has urged the Under 17 Men’s Football team technical bench to work on tactical errors made in the group stage as they commence the knockout phase chapter of the Under 17 AFCON.
FAZ General Secretary REUBEN KAMANGA says the coaching staff should ensure that mistakes made in the previous games should be worked on before they face Burkina Faso on Thursday.
KAMANGA told ZNBC News that while the team’s progression to the next round is of good cheer, much preparation must be put in place to ensure that they qualify to the semifinals and final of the competition.
He says Zambia’s opponents Burkina Faso are a strong side and will give Zambia a tough time.
KAMANGA however noted that the team should fight to earn their place in the semifinals.
KAMANGA was speaking to ZNBC Sport News in an interview ahead of Zambia’s quarterfinal games against Burkina Faso to be played on Thursday.
