
Under 17 Copper Princesses Declared Fit for Tanzania

The Zambia Under-17 Women’s Team has been declared fit and ready to face Tanzania in tomorrow’s encounter.
The team will battle the East African side in the second round of the 2025 U-17 World Cup Qualifiers first leg.
Speaking after the team’s first training session, Team Doctor Diniwe Tembo confirmed that the squad is injury-free and that all the players are fit and ready to face Tanzania.
Goalkeeper Bukata Kakumbi stated that her department, working closely with the other goalkeepers, will ensure they keep a clean sheet against Tanzania.
England-based striker Jessica Johnson, who has received her first call-up to the national team, expressed her desire to make a strong impression and help the team win tomorrow’s game.
Johnson, who is on contract with the Aston Villa Women’s Football Club, said her goal is to contribute to the team’s qualification for the 2025 World Cup.
Sunday’s encounter is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 hours East African time, which will be 15:00 hours Zambian time.
