United Capital Fertilizer embarks on expansion

The government says it is focused on increasing the production of fertilizer to reduce imports.
Ministry of Information and Media Director Spokesperson Henry Kapata said this when he toured expansion works at United Capital Fertilizer under the Wonderful Group of companies.
Mr. Kapata said the expansion of the United Capital Fertilizer plant will also result in the generation of 85 megawatts of power generation in the second quarter of the year.
He said the company will also ensure that it continues to create jobs for local people.
