Volleyball :Green Buffaloes secure bronze at Zone Six Region Senior Club Championship.

The Green Buffaloes men’s and women’s volleyball teams have secured bronze medals for Zambia at the 2024 Zone Six Region Senior Club Championship.
The back-to-back Zone Six champions, Green Buffaloes, defeated Alliance with a 3-0 scoreline but fell short against UZ Wolves of Zimbabwe, missing the opportunity to become the first country to win the title three consecutive years.
UZ Wolves were crowned the 2024 Zone Six Club Volleyball Champions after defeating Highlanders 3-1 in Botswana.
Meanwhile, the Green Buffaloes women’s team earned bronze after a 3-1 victory over Mafolofolo, despite a 3-1 loss to UP Maputo in the semi-finals.
UP Maputo went on to claim gold in the women’s category by defeating Spiking Star in the finals.
Other Zambian teams competing in the men’s category included Red Arrows, Nkwazi, the University of Zambia, Solwezi Ackers, and Prison Leopards.
