World Bank gives SME Ministry $29m for cooperatives

The World Bank has given the Ministry of Small Medium and Enterprise a 29 million US dollars grant for the formation of cooperatives in the country.
Small Medium and Enterprise Minister, Elias Mubanga, says the money is meant for empowering Zambians through cooperatives.
Speaking when he addressed Shiwangandu residents, Mr. Mubanga appealed to youths to take advantage of the grant to better their lives.
Meanwhile, Muchinga Province UPND Provincial Chairperson, Lovewell Somfwa, appealed to Shiwangandu residents to support the government’s developmental agenda.
