Zambia Airways to start Kenya flights
By Mwila Nsofu
Kenyan Authorities have resolved to allow Zambia Airways Limited to fly into that country.
And Transport Minister FRANK TAYALI says Kenya and Zambia have a lot to gain by working together, as it also hinges on Zambia’s desire of transforming the region so that it can have better connectivity.
The Minister, whose office has been working round the clock to have the matter resolved amicably, is delighted and has praised the Zambia civil Aviation Authority for handling the matter professionally.
He has since urged the two regional airlines to adhere to the regulations and visions that hinge on the need to provide efficiency, safe and secure skies as well as manage passenger relations to the satisfaction of the clients.
The Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority in its response to the Zambia Civil Aviation Authority says it has no objection to the operation of the Zambia Airways aircraft into Nairobi.
This comes in the wake of the Zambia Civil Aviation Authority earlier issuance of the suspension notice to Kenya Airways from flying into Zambia with effect from October 8th 2024.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by Transport and Logistics Public Relations Officer, NDUBI MVULA.
