Zambia Civil Aviation Industry to Undergo ICAO Security Audit

Zambia Civil Aviation Industry will next year undergo an International Civil Aviation Organisation -ICAO- Universal Security Audit Programme Continuous Monitoring Approach -USAP-CMA- security audit.

The Audit will provide an opportunity for the country to benchmark its performance, identify gaps, and strengthen systems to meet the highest global security standards.

Transport and Logistics, Permanent Secretary, FREDRICK MWALUSAKA, says the Civil Aviation Industry must work as a unified team to address any challenges and showcase Zambia’s commitment to aviation security excellence.

Mr MWALUSAKA said this in a speech read on his behalf by Director Transport NKUMBU SIAME during the USAP CMA Stakeholder Engagement meeting held in Lusaka.
