Zambia Drawn in Group A for 2024 CHAN Finals
By Robert Mwanza
Zambia has been drawn in Group A of the 2024 TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals.
The Copper Bullets will face one of the hosts, Kenya, along with Morocco, DRC, and Angola in a tournament that was scheduled to take place next month but has been pushed to August 2025.
This is according to the draws conducted in Kenya this evening.
This year’s tournament is jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
CAF postponed the competition due to delays in the readiness of infrastructure in the three co-hosting nations.
The CHAN tournament exclusively features players who compete in their domestic leagues, offering a platform for local talent to shine on the continental stage.
