
Zambia to Participate in World Expo 2025

ZAMBIA will participate at the World Expo 2025 in Japan scheduled for April 13th to October 13, this year.
And Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister CHIPOKA MULENGA has disclosed that 59 public and private institutions have so far registered to participate in the expo and shipment of exhibits has already been done.
Mr. MULENGA says the expo will provide Zambia unparalleled opportunity to showcase her potential to foster international partnerships and drive economic growth.
He said this during a joint press briefing with Tourism Minister RODNEY SIKUMBA in Lusaka today
And Mr. SIKUMBA said the Zambian pavilion will highlight the country’s vibrant culture and rich heritage.
He said through the Expo, Zambia will seek to increase international tourist arrival.
And Zambia Development Agency Director General ALBERT HALWAMPA said the expo presents an opportunity for Zambia to learn and leverage innovations showcased by other countries.
