ZISD Affirms Support for U17 Player Lydia Shamalime
The Zambia Institute of Sustainable Development (ZISD) Football Club says it fully supports Under-17 player Lydia Shamalime.
The club says it supports the player financially with a salary, accommodation, and winning bonuses, contrary to media speculation that the club has neglected the player.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page and monitored by ZNBC Sports, the club said it is shocked by the player’s revelation that she is suffering and needs financial support.
Shamalime recently broke down on Facebook and asked for well-wishers to assist her family with money for rent and foodstuffs.
