ZPL distributes funds to all clubs

The Zambian Premier League -ZPL-has completed the disbursement of funds to Clubs.
This follows the second batch disbursement of funds to clubs across the various Leagues for the 2024/2025 season.
All the Clubs in the MTN Super have received 1.2 Million Kwacha paid in two installments of 600,000 kwacha in the first and second round of the season.
Teams in the Women’s Super League have received One hundred thousand kwacha also paid in two installments following the Eden University Sponsorship.
Clubs in the Zambian Premier League, Men’s National League have received their full allocations of a 100,000 Kwacha each, while the Women’s National League teams are yet to receive their final payments.
Confirming the development to ZNBC Sports News, ZPL-Chief Executive Officer JOSEPH CHIMPAMPWE said the payments reflect commitment to financially supporting teams.

And ZPL Chairperson KEPHAS KATONGO emphasised the significance of this season for women’s football, acknowledging the progress made in securing financial support.
Meanwhile, in an effort to enhance the Kopa brand through ZPL’s equipment support initiative, all Zambian Premier League teams have received training Kopa branded balls for this season.
