Government to Continue Improving Flood Water Management in Lusaka

The construction of drainage aimed at ending flooding in Lusaka’s Central Business District (CBD) is progressing well.

Local Government and Rural Development Minister, Gary Nkombo, says the drainage around Premium House has been completed.

Mr. Nkombo says this has addressed the flooding that used to occur in the area.

In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. Nkombo said the government will continue to improve flood water management by lowering the risk of waterborne diseases caused by stagnant water.
