Zambia’s Ambassador to the BENELUX countries, Mary Chirwa, has presented her letter of credence to Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg at the Grand Ducal Palace.
Ms. Chirwa reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to concluding a development agreement that will pave the way for increased foreign direct investment into the country’s stable and lucrative investment landscape.
Following the presentation, she held key meetings with Luxembourg officials, including Georges Ternes, Director General for Development Cooperation, and Touraya Triki of the European Investment Bank.
Discussions focused on leveraging Luxembourg’s financial expertise and technological capabilities to support Zambia’s transformation agenda, in line with Vision 2030 and the 8th National Development Plan.
Ms. Chirwa emphasized that Zambia’s stable environment and attractive investment opportunities will continue to draw Luxembourg’s interest in the country’s growth potential.
