Government has announced a change of venue for the Special Convocation Ceremony for President Hakainde Hichilema, scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2026.
The ceremony will now take place at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Kenneth Kaunda Wing, instead of ZCAS University as earlier communicated.
In a statement to ZNBC News, Acting Secretary to the Cabinet Oliver Kalabo said the change of venue should be treated as official notification to all invited guests.
Dr. Kalabo confirmed that the event will still be held at 10:00 hours, adding that all invitation cards issued remain valid despite the change.
He further expressed government’s regret for any inconvenience the development may cause to invited guests.
