Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala says getting past the group stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations is attainable for the team .
Sakala says the focus will be on getting maximum points against Mali and Comoros before playing hosts Morocco in their final group A encounter.
He says the upcoming international friendly games are a good step to helping the team prepare for the December AFCON tournament.
Speaking during the team’s training session in Lusaka , the Saudi Professional League based goal scorer said the games are of high quality adding that the first friendly encounter against South Africa will not be easy as they are a strong side .
Sakala says he is confident that the team being led by a local technical bench will do wonders as they will be no Language barriers.
He has since urged fans to continue supporting the team as they will strive to get back to winning ways.
The Chipolopolo will play South Africa on Saturday at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth in their first friendly encounter.
The next game will be on the 18 of November 2025 in Bujumbura against Burundi.
