Southern Province Surpasses Voter Registration Target

Southern Province has exceeded its voter registration target following the 15-day extension of the mass registration exercise.

Provincial Minister Credo Nanjuwa announced that the province has so far registered over 420,000 new voters, surpassing the set target. He made the remarks during a meeting with the National Council of Student Unions in Livingstone.

Meanwhile, National Council of Student Unions Chairperson Michelo Chizombe expressed excitement at the active participation of young people in civil activities, noting their growing role in shaping Zambia’s democratic processes.
