Several houses in Kanyama, Kabanana, and Misisi have been left flooded following heavy rains in Lusaka.
Residents in the affected areas were seen busy removing water from their homes and have appealed for a permanent solution to the persistent flooding problem.
Chinika Ward 11 Councillor, Masauso Ngoma, attributed the flooding in his area to the obstruction of storm water flow, stressing the need for improved drainage systems.
Meanwhile, ZNBC’s Martha Kanene, reporting from Kanyama, is following up on the situation as residents continue to grapple with the aftermath of the rains.
