President HICHILEMA Wishes Zambians a Joyful Christmas

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has called on citizens to celebrate Christmas responsibly and avoid excessive consumption of alcohol.

The President has also urged motorists to refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol in order to save lives and prevent damage to road infrastructure.

He says Christmas should be a time spent with friends and family to strengthen relationships and social bonds.

In his Christmas address to the nation broadcast on ZNBC TV and Radio, President HICHILEMA said the season serves as a reminder that, even in times of differing views, there is a need to uphold humility and peaceful engagement.

The Head of State said the festive period calls for a renewed commitment to peace, unity and reconciliation.

President HICHILEMA said Christmas also demonstrates that love brings people together, making it important to honour the true meaning of the day.

He wished all Zambians a blessed, prayerful and joyful Christmas.
