The UPND on the Copperbelt has honoured over 90 long-serving and hardworking members across all districts in the province for their contribution to the party.
Copperbelt Province UPND Chairman Elisha Matambo said the programme to award committed party supporters began last year and has also remembered some members posthumously.
Speaking during the awarding ceremony in Kitwe, Mr. Matambo said recipients received certificates of recognition, groceries, and financial support in appreciation of their loyalty and service.
UPND Deputy Treasurer General Greezer Shaputu praised provincial leaders for organizing the event, noting that honouring members strengthens the party’s growth. He urged Copperbelt members to continue mobilising the party ahead of the 2026 General Election.
