The Government says all outstanding payments to farmers who supplied maize to the Food Reserve Agency –FRA- will be settled by January 10, 2026.
Finance and National Planning Minister SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE says the Government is committed to ensuring that every farmer receives payment within the stated timeframe.
Dr. MUSOKOTWANE says timely payments are important to farmers’ livelihoods and their preparations for the upcoming farming season.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News in LUSAKA.
