Local Government and Rural Development Minister, GIFT SIALUBALO, has warned against unruly behaviour by political cadres in markets and bus stations.

In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. SIALUBALO said Government will not tolerate lawlessness and intimidation of members of the public by cadres.
He said such conduct damages the image of the New Dawn Administration and President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.
Mr. SIALUBALO said President HICHILEMA upholds the rule of law, order and respect for citizens.
He warned that anyone found engaging in illegal activities, regardless of political affiliation, will face the full force of the law.
The Minister has called on local authorities and law enforcement agencies to work together to maintain peace and order in public places, especially markets and bus stations.
Mr. SIALUBALO’s remarks follow a recent incident involving an attack on a bus driver in Lusaka.
