The new Sakania Border Post is expected to be completed ahead of schedule.

Copperbelt Minister ELISHA MATAMBO says construction works are likely to be completed by August this year.
Mr. MATAMBO was speaking after touring the project in Ndola, where he said the new border post, once completed and commissioned, will generate increased revenue and ease traffic congestion compared to the old infrastructure.
He added that the Sakania Border Post will also create more employment opportunities for Zambians, particularly residents of the surrounding communities.
Meanwhile, AVIC International, the contractor undertaking the project, said the works have surpassed 50 per cent completion.
AVIC Business Manager JACK HUANG said the new border post will include a business park and 20 staff houses.
Mr. HUANG further noted that road works from the Ndola roundabout to the Sakania Border, including the toll plaza, have already been completed.
