The Ministry of Community Development and Social Services has handed over 17 vehicles to district offices to improve service delivery.

Community Development and Social Services Minister, DOREEN MWAMBA, says the vehicles will support the ministry’s outreach programmes, particularly in remote areas.
Speaking at the official handover ceremony, Ms. MWAMBA said the initiative demonstrates the Government’s commitment to improving livelihoods, promoting empowerment and advancing community development.
She urged the recipient districts to use the vehicles responsibly in serving poor and vulnerable communities.
Ms. MWAMBA said the vehicles will enable districts to access hard-to-reach areas, respond more effectively to local needs and monitor ongoing projects with greater efficiency.
