Zambia’s Ambassador to Angola, Elias Munshya, has engaged Angola’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui Miguêns de Oliveira, in discussions aimed at enhancing trade between the two countries.
Speaking after the meeting, Dr. Munshya said the engagement forms part of Zambia’s broader economic diplomacy efforts to unlock new trade opportunities and strengthen regional partnerships.
He explained that the talks were focused on promoting greater private sector participation in economic activities.
Mr. de Oliveira reaffirmed Angola’s readiness to continue engaging Zambia in efforts to expand commercial exchanges and promote regional integration within Southern Africa.
He noted that Zambia and Angola continue to enjoy cordial bilateral relations anchored on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared development goals.
