Canadian High Commission Mourns Zambian Boy Killed in School Shooting

The Canadian High Commission in Zambia says it is saddened by the tragic loss of a young Zambian boy in a school shooting in Canada.

Charge d’Affaires Corry Van Gaal stated that Canada stands in solidarity with the people of Zambia in remembering the life of Able Mwansa Jr.

Ms. Van Gaal said the people of Canada have sent heartfelt condolences to the parents and family of Able, describing the incident in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, as a tragedy for both Canada and Zambia.

She made the remarks in a statement released to ZNBC News in Kitwe.
