Lusaka District Achieves 86% Completion Rate in CDF Projects

Lusaka City Council has announced an 86% completion rate for Lusaka District Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects.

During the official handover of 1×3 classroom blocks at two schools in Lusaka Constituency, valued at K2.5 million, Lusaka Mayor Chilando Chitangala commended the government for its continued progress in CDF allocation.

She noted that Lusaka District’s CDF performance has significantly improved over the past two years, with nearly all projects completed on schedule and without contractor recalls.

Meanwhile, Lusaka Central Constituency Member of Parliament Mulambo Haimbe stated that his office will continue to align with President Hichilema’s key pillars, including free education. He added that the two classroom blocks will benefit more than 600 learners.
