A 15-year-old girl has allegedly been sexually assaulted by two males in Itezhi-Tezhi, Southern Province.
The incident is reported to have occurred between January and February 27, 2026, but was only disclosed on March 3 when the girl informed her mother.
Southern Province Police Commanding Officer, Moono Namalongo, confirmed the case.
Mr. Namalongo said a medical examination revealed that the girl is pregnant and has contracted a sexually transmitted infection.
He added that police investigations are underway, although no arrests have been made so far
